Lake is a Registered Acupuncturist and a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He graduated from Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2012. He is currently an instructor at Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He also has an Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Saskatchewan since 1995.
At young age Lake was more interested in healing arts, meditation and QiGong. He walked away from a promising engineering career at Shell Canada to practice meditation as monastic in Thailand. For the last 20 years, Lake has been teaching Meditation, Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga at the City of Calgary as well as Mount Royal University. Lake studied to become a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Registered Acupuncturist because he is extremely interested in solving problems of human suffering both spiritual and physical.
Dr. Lake has experiences in treating all kinds of physical pain, promoting digestion, improving sleep, reducing anxiety and depression. As well as in areas of weight loss, fertility and improving general well being.
As a fitness and wellness instructor, Lake has special interest in sport medicine and has always been fascinated with how to enhancing grace and power of the body through energetic alignments, fascia
release and mental concentration.
He has developed effective acupuncture treatment for sport injuries, soft tissue injuries, motor vehicle accidents, pain reduction and posture alignments.
Lake is a strong advocate for preventative medicine, maintaining well being with holistic lifestyle, proper exercise, mindful living and regular acupuncture to induce deep relaxation to enhance our natural immune system.
